Purpose:
If a webpage requires Silverlight or won’t load because it requires Internet Explorer mode.
Solution:
Open Microsoft Edge and select the three dots at the top right of the web page and select Settings.
Select Default Browser on the left-hand pane
Select the down arrow in the option box next to “Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) and select ALLOW.
When prompted, select Restart. The Microsoft Edge will close and open once again on its own.
Click on the three dots at the top right of the web browser once again and select Reload in Internet Explorer mode.
Once the page reloads, you may see a popup for additional Internet Explorer options to select. Toggle both options to turn on and click Done.
The next time you access this page, it should load successfully.
